Asayile Chiwale is a third-year Social Science student at the University of Malawi (UNIMA), currently working as a programmes intern at YONECO’s district office in Rumphi. In this role, Asayile is involved in supporting the implementation of various programmatic activities, particularly on promotion of gender equality, women’s empowerment and case management, including community mobilisation. Asayile is a strong advocate for feminist theories, and he firmly believes in equality for all, justice for women and the importance of addressing gender disparities.
