Owen Nkhata is a third-year Bachelor of Social Science (Social Work) student at the University of Malawi. He is currently working as intern at YONECO Office in Rumphi district. The internship allows him to apply academic knowledge to practical social work through activities such as community sensitization, case assessments, psychosocial support, youth empowerment, and report writing. His aspiration is to become a competent social worker dedicated to advancing social justice, empowerment, and the wellbeing of communities in Malawi.
