Wisdom Thulu is a third-year Bachelor of Social Work student at the University of Malawi, currently doing an attachment at the YONECO office in Rumphi district. As a Social Work intern, his role involves supporting child protection initiatives and case management activities, engaging with children, families, and the community to ensure their safety and well-being. He has demonstrated strong empathy, effective communication, and teamwork, contributing meaningfully to community-based interventions and client support. He believes that “every act of care strengthens communities and empowers the most vulnerable.”
