YONECO, in collaboration with the District Social Welfare Office, has engaged learners at Mayembe Primary School in Rumphi district in a session that was organized to promote positive behaviour change among young people.
During the session, learners were encouraged to avoid drug and substance abuse, including alcohol and Indian hemp, with facilitators highlighting the negative effects on their health, academic performance and social development.
Learners were also made aware of the risks associated with unplanned pregnancies and child marriages.
