YONECO’s Early Child hood Development (ECD) Centre campus was filled with happy parents, guardians and siblings of 20 children who have graduated to start primary school in the forth-coming academic year.

In her address, the District Manager for YONECO in Mangochi, Funny Chilembo, told parents and guardians who attended the graduation ceremony that early child stimulation is very important. Chilembo further encouraged all parents who send their children to ECD Centres to continue doing so and urged those who do not to emulate the good example.

“Children who undergo ECD classes are always ready for primary school and they always do well in their studies,” said Chilembo.

Further to this, there were also similar functions in various ECD Centres which YONECO established in Zomba, Ntcheu and Balaka among others.

Promoting early learning is the best investment that could be made in order to ensure a bright future for the generations to come.
