Temwanani Kachipapa joined Youth Net and Counselling (YONECO) in 2012 as a Project Officer. In this capacity, she is responsible for project monitoring and evaluating various programmatic interventions, supporting in project formulation and programme design, implementing activities at community and district level. Temwanani is also responsible for supervising field officers and providing technical support to volunteers at community level.
Temwanani holds an advanced Diploma in Community Development as well as a Certificate in Business Management. Further to this, she has also attended various capacity building exercise and short courses which include; Sexual and Reproductive Health workshop (2012)- Cape Town, RSA; Community Paralegal Training (2012), Training in Women Empowerment and Feminism Workshop (2012) – Swaziland; Psychosocial Training, Documentation and Reporting, Parenting Training (2013); training in Girl and Boy Friendly School Monitoring.
Temwanani’s passion is in youth empowerment and this area has greatly assisted her to demonstrate her ability to contribute positively to youth development.
