Mollen Gondwa – YFM Radio Intern
Mollen Gondwa is a holder of Diploma in Journalism obtained from Malawi institute of Journalism, currently working with Yoneco Fm as an intern presenter and a producer of programmes which include Sports, Achinyamata ndi Chilengedwe, Zathu Zomwe, Sabbath songs and Reggae Dancehall.
Patrick Stephen. Chimbwanya – Machinga

Patrick Stephen. Chimbwanya holds a Diploma level 5 in Rural and Community Development from Soche Technical College and Diploma level 4 in Rural and Community Development from the same institution obtained in 2015 and 2016 respectively. Patrick also holds a Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) obtained at Saint Charles Lwanga Secondary School in 2013. He has in 2015 worked with CCJP as a Volunteer. Patrick is now serving YONECO as an Internee from 14th February 2017 up to date.
Matiffi Ngwira – YFM Radio Intern
Matiffi Ngwira, a young man of 21 years of age, is a journalist by profession currently doing internships at YFM (a radio station under Youth Net and Counselling) as a presenter and reporter since March 2017.
As a presenter at on YFM, Matiffi produces programs (i.e. Mlimi Akutinji, which he co-produces with Dorcus Leston), adverts, and takes roles in Ticheze Radio drama.
He is a holder of a Junior Certificate of Education (JCE) and Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) obtained from Thyolo Secondary School as academic qualifications.
He also holds a Certificate and a Diploma in Journalism obtained from the Malawi Institute of Journalism (MIJ).
YONECO being an organization which deals with issues that have a basis in promoting rights of the underrated groups in society, Matiffi Ngwira has a liking for writing about the various burning issues which are happening as far as these issues are concerned. Short stories are a best suit when it comes to portraying these issues in a fiction type of way.
Apart from writing, Matiffi has a strong passion in audio production.
Richard Mbaka – YFM Radio Intern
Richard Mbaka is A Malawian born and based young Journalist, He was born in Blantyre in 1995.As a youngster he started developing interest in journalism when he was in primary school as being inspired by news stories from newspapers and various prominent presenters back then.
In terms of education he went to St Patrick’s secondary school from the year 2009 to 2012.
He earned his Diploma in Journalism in 2017 through Malawi institute of Journalism Blantyre campus.
When he is not at work Richard likes Writing poems, dancing and developing music.
Richard’s on going ambition is to develop a good Malawi through reporting and developing radio programs that will civic educate general public on areas that need much attention and change.
