Began his journey with YONECO in August 2016 as the Research, Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning, & Documentation Manager (RMELDM). In his capacity as RMELDM which falls under the direct supervision of the Executive Director supported by the Programs Manager, Daniel is responsible for coordinating all Research, Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning and Documentation related activities of all programmes in YONECO. He is also responsible for overall institutional Annual Report production and dissemination of programme activities.
Daniel brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience to YONECO having been involved in Research and Monitoring & Evaluation for cumulatively over 8 years.
He is a holder of a Bachelors of Arts in Humanities degree obtained from the University of Malawi, Chancellor College in 2012. Additionally, he has over the years undertaken a number of capacity building courses in line with Social programmes research, monitoring & evaluation.
Donald Kamthunzi holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education Social Studies, from the University of Malawi Chancellor College. Joined Youth Net and Counselling (YONECO) on 15th March 2017 as Research, Monitoring and Evaluation, Learning and Documentation Assistant, responsible for projects monitoring, data management and quality control in project implementation/interventions. In line with the mission and vision of YONECO, Donald works towards the attainment of National Development Plan for Malawi which envisions a nation that will be secure, democratically mature, environmentally sustainable and self-reliant, with equal opportunities for and active participation by all; having social services, vibrant cultural and religious values, and being a technologically driven middle-income economy’. His contribution to community and national development is through generation, collection, and analysis of data for evidence based programming, to better channel resources and interventions for real change.
Joined YONECO in February 2017 as a Research, Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant. He is responsible for data management, projects monitoring, as well as data and report quality checks for projects reports as well as the institutional reports.
He is passionate about empowering the youth in communities and ensuring that the youth are accessing comprehensive knowledge about their SRH through research, monitoring and evaluation of the impact of their interventions.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematical Sciences (Statistics and Computing) from the University of Malawi, Polytechnic.
