Rehema Asedi

Rehema Asedi is an intern at the YONECO office in Mangochi, where she is involved in case management, data management, and supporting community sessions. Rehema holds a bachelor’s degree in social work which she obtained from St John the Baptist University.

Priscilla Ndhlovu

Priscilla Ndhlovu is an intern at YONECO office in Mangochi. She is currently pursuing a Diploma in Early Childhood Development (ECD) at Malawi Assemblies of God University. In her role, Priscilla supports ECD classes and facilitates awareness sessions on cognitive development, literacy and language development, child rights protection, and nutrition activities.

Ruth Banda

Ruth Banda is a third-year student at the University of Malawi (UNIMA), pursuing a Bachelor of Social Science in Social Work. She is an intern at Mangochi YONECO, where she supports community sessions on Gender-Based Violence (GBV), women’s economic empowerment, case management, and child rights protection activities. She believes that “people are self-advocates for change.”

Thandiwe Ngalonde

Today, we also welcome Thandiwe Ngalonde, a final-year student from the Catholic University of Malawi pursuing a bachelor’s degree in social work. Thandiwe has been attached to our office in Chiladzulu, where she is supporting various community development and child protection interventions.
