In a bid to keep Zomba City Clean and ensure that community members are aware of the Gender Based Crisis and Child Helpline Tool-free lines, YONECO has introduced Waste Bins in various parts of Zomba City. The Waste Bins have been branded with information about the Tithandizane Helpline Services. The services include support to walk in clients as well as phone-in clients through toll-free Child Help Line (116) as well as GBV Crisis Line (5600). Tithandizane Toll free lines are a hub for information as well as an alternative reporting mechanism.
YONECO has also branded various bus stops across the city. The Executive Director for YONECO, Mac Bain Mkandawire, has indicated that the initiative will also be scaled up to to other parts of the country.
