YONECO ICT staff, YFM reporters and presenters engaged students of St Mary’s Girls Secondary School in Zomba on online bullying and ways of ensuring young people’s safety on cyberspace.
The discussion will be featured in a special programme that will be aired on YFM during the commendation of this year’s Safe Internet Day 0n 11 February, 2020.
During the discussions, the young girls described their various experiences with cyberbullying. Heartrendingly, all the participants stated that they are not aware of the various laws and protection mechanisms that are available in the country.
