Enhancing youth participation in crime prevention is very critical to the promotion of peace at community and national levels. It is against this background that YONECO in collaboration with the Malawi Police in Mchinji has launched Crime Prevention Sessions in order to contribute towards crime prevention and peace in the area.
The first session was conducted at Kholoni Community Day Secondary School (CDSS) in the area of Traditional Authority (T/A) Mlonyeni in the district. A total of 30 male and female students attended the session that was facilitated by YONECO Staff and Police Officers from Mchinji Police Station.
