YONECO has been conducting follow up and documentation of various Gender Based Violence (GBV) cases that were reported from various parts of the Eastern Region of Malawi through the Tithandizane Helpline Services.
So far, a number of cases have been followed up in Machinga, Zomba, Mulanje and Phalombe districts.
Currently the exercise is being done in the districts of Machinga, Mulanje, Zomba and Phalombe.
YONECO, through its Helpline Services Department is working collaboration with the Ministry of Gender, Children, Disability and Social Welfare as well as the Malawi Police Service- Victim Support Unit to end GBV and child abuse in Malawi.
