The youth have the potential of being lead producers of horticultural crops in Malawi and enhance their wellbeing. YONECO provides technical support to young people to realize this possibility.
Individual young farmers from Chipaika in the area of Traditional Authority (T/A) Nyaluwanga in Nkhata Bay district are excepted benefit from their sweat after cultivating tomatoes and other horticultural crops.
“I hopeful that by the end of this year, complaints about unemployment will be an issue of the past,” said one of the young famers during a monitoring visit which YONECO Field Officers conducted in Chipaika.
