YONECO in collaboration with Zomba Central Hospital – Youth Friendly Health Service (YFHS) Coordinator Conducted a Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) outreach session in the area of Group Village Head (GVH) Mpotola, Traditional Authority (T/A) Mlumbe in Zomba district.
Through the activity, a number of young people accessed various services including HIV Testing Services (HTS), contraceptives, and cervical cancer screening. In addition to this, young people were also sensitized on the dangers of child marriages, Gender Based Violence (GBV) prevention and reporting mechanisms.
The activity was spiced up by a football and netball match which attracted many young people to the session.
