Phalombe District Social Welfare Office has commended YONECO for its continued support towards ensuring that various Gender Based Violence (GBV) cases that are reported to the authorities are properly followed up and concluded.
This remark was made today during a Gender Technical Working Group (GTWG) meeting that was held to, among other things, strengthen GBV referral pathways at district level.
The resolutions that have been made during the meeting are further expected to enhance survivor-centred approaches within the realm of GBV case management.
The meeting was held with technical and financial support from NCA-DCA Alliance.
