YONECO has distributed 3, 375 kilograms of sunflower seeds to 1, 485 women and young farmers within Mkanda and Zulu extension planning Areas (EPAs) in Mchinji district.
The donation is part of the transformative efforts which YONECO has embarked on to enhance socioeconomic welfare of the youth and women in rural areas across Malawi.
In addition, this, YONECO through its business entity called Y-Net Investments will procure the produce from farmers using the most recent recommended prices.
