The YONECO Cultural Troupe is in Nsanje district, where the group is using theatre to provide psychosocial support (PSS) to Mozambican citizens who fled from post-election violence in Mozambique.
YONECO has employed the use of theatre as a tool for promoting the mental health and emotional well-being of the Mozambican refugees who faced severe trauma and stressful situations before fleeing their country.
The refugee communities include children, the elderly, people with disabilities, and expectant women.
