Today YONECO joined Malawi government and various stakeholders in commemorating the 2025 International Women’s Day.
The event featured Deputy Minister of Gender, Community Development and Social Welfare, Honourable Halima Daud, MP, as the guest of honor who officially launched the 2025 International Women’s Day celebrations in Blantyre.
The Deputy Minister also visited YONECO’s booth, where the institution showcased its various efforts addressing issues of GBV and women empowerment.
The event also featured a breakfast meeting with several guest speakers, a Small and Medium Enterprise Clinic and a business expo.
