YONECO, with support from Trócaire and CAVWOC, has trained members of Community Action Groups (CAGs) and faith leaders from various areas in Balaka district on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) prevention and provision of Psychological First Aid (PFA) for Community from various areas around Balaka district.
The training aimed at addressing gaps in GBV prevention and referral pathways as well as enhancing skills of Community Action Groups and faith leaders in provision of PFA.
In total, 52 community-based facilitators participated in the training and acquired necessary knowledge and skills to bring positive change in their designated communities.
During the session, the Tithandizane National Helpline Services toll-free numbers were also shared for reporting of cases and further support.
