On 28 May 2025, #YONECO engaged 978 learners from 14 schools in Child Rights Awareness Sessions aimed at empowering them to know and defend their rights while recognizing their related responsibilities.

The sessions were held on Children’s Day at this year’s Malawi International Trade Fair at Chichiri, Blantyre.
During the sessions, our team discussed with the learners the difference between child labour and child work, child neglect, the prevention of violence in schools, as well as the prevention and reporting of cyberbullying, among other topics.

A big thank you to the Malawi Confederation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) for organizing the event and giving us the space to interact with the learners.
