Today, YONECO conducted a career guidance session with girls at St Monica Secondary School in Mangochi district. The session was aimed at equipping young girls with knowledge on how they can set goals and have them achieved.
Students were also advised to desist from sexual relationships because they may result in them making poor choices that may in turn affect their careers.
During the session, Role models from Catholic University of Malawi and Malawi Assemblies of God University, who are doing their internship with YONECO encouraged the girls to work hard in their studies and aim at achieving their set goals.
The role models also said that there are now more opportunities for girls who excel in their studies hence the need for them to focus on their studies and to desist from immoral behaviors which can derail their future.
