On 3 June, 2022 YONECO hosted Board Members and Management of Church and Society of the Livingstonia Synod in Zomba.
The visit provided an opportunity for the two institutions to share knowledge and skills in resource mobilization, sustainability, transparency and accountability at organizational level as well best practices in promotion of socio-economic development of marginalized groups.
During the visit, the group had a brief tour around YONECO Head Office which houses YONECO FM Radio Station, the call centre for Tithandizane Helpline Services. The visitors also toured YONECO ICT Centre where they appreciated how YONECO has uses ICT in its programming.
The tours were succeeded by a debriefing session that was also attended by the Chairperson for YONECO Board of Trustees, Professor Dixie Maluwa Banda, the Executive Director of YONECO, MacBain Mkandawire and other senior managers.
