YONECO engaged a total of 30 People Living with HIV (PLWHIV) on human rights through a number of sessions that were conducted at City Clinic in Zomba. Sometimes, People Living with HIV (PLWHIV) face very serious human rights violations at the hands of their fellow community members as well as various service providers. Stigma and discrimination have compelled PLWHIV to shun away from public spaces. Thus, a number of people have had serious health problems due to their failure to access health services. YONECO’s District Manager for Zomba, Blessings Sabao explained that the intervention will also reach other health facilities across the district.
