Investing in women’s economic empowerment sets a direct path towards gender equality, poverty eradication and inclusive economic development. Today , YONECO through our office in Mangochi has empowered women through a session that was conducted in collaboration with Support Groups in the area of Traditional Authority (TA) Mponda.

YONECO brought together education stakeholders from 11 primary schools around Bumba Education Zone in order to deal with various challenges that are preventing children from enjoying their right to education in the area.

Life skills education helps a young person to develop necessary personal skills that enable them to make informed decisions, communicate effectively, build better coping skills and properly manage one self.

On 08 July, 2021, our team in Chikwawa supported Early Childhood Development (ECD) activities at Joshua Junior Acadamy in the district. A total of 42 leaners participated in the session.

Implementing partners of Spotlight Initiative congregated at Nanyumbu Primary School in the area of Paramount Chief Kawinga in Machinga district as part of a high-level joint monitoring visit in the area.
