Richard Nkhonjera joined YONECO in 2004 as a Community Volunteer before being employed as a Field Officer under the Tithandizane Helpline Services. Later in 2010, Richard was promoted to his current position of Project Officer.
Richard is responsible for project planning, reporting and monitoring of programmatic interventions at district level. Furthermore, Richard is also involved in providing technical support to community volunteers and Field Officers.
Richard Nkhonjera holds a Leal Certificate in Paralegal Skills which he obtained from Staff Development Institute (SDID), Malawi.
Richard has been attached to support implementation of various projects such; as Reaching hard to Reach with HIV and SRH Information, Strengthening Citizens’ Power Project, Gender Equality and Women Empowerment (GEWE), Agriculture Diversification Project.
Richard is passionate about human rights, governance and youth development.
