The Deputy Minister of Gender, Children, Disability and Social Welfare (MoGDSW), Honourable Grace Kwelepeta visited YONECO Head Office in Zomba.
The Deputy Minister’s tour was aimed at assessing the impact and contribution of YONECO to the welfare of women and children in Malawi.
During the visit, Hon. Kwelepeta toured YONECO ICT Centre, Tithandizane Helpline Services Call Centre as well as YFM studios.
Addressing reporters from various media houses, the Deputy Minister commended YONECO for its efficiency and innovativeness in promoting the rights and welfare of children and women and children in Malawi.
Hon. Kwelepeta called on various donors and stakeholders to support YONECO which she said is one of the most outstanding performers in completing the efforts of her Ministry
