Minister of Information, honorouble Gospel Kazako has described YONECO as one of the institutions that is positively contributing towards ensuring that Malawi achieves the 2063 Agenda.
Honorouble Kazako made this remark today when he visited YONECO head office in Zomba during a familiarization tour at the organization.
The minister told members of the press that he was impressed with the way YONECO interacts with the youth, women and children on top of responding to issues that affect their rights and welfare. The minister appreciated the innovative interventions that the organisation is implementing through it’s toll-free helplines, ICT and radio among others.
“My ministry will do its best to support this institution so that it should further compliment government’s efforts of developing this country”, honorouble Kazako explained.
Minister Commends
In his remarks, Executive Director for YONECO- MacBain Mkandawire indicated that a number of efforts are in place to ensure that the youth, women and children are able to voice out their rights.
