Today, the Minister of Gender, Children and Social Services visited one of the impact areas of Comprehensive Action for Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW) Project in the area of area Traditional Authority (T/A) Mabuka in Mulanje district.

The aim of the Minister’s visit was to appreciate the impact of various interventions which the implementing partners have been conducting since 2016. During the visit, the minister toured pavilions which YONECO and MAGGA erected at Milonde Primary School Ground in the area.

Among other people, the function was also attended by the Executive Director for YONECO, MacBain Mkandawire as well as T/A Mabuka and various government officials
The AGYW project is being funded by the Global Fund through Action Aid and Christian Aid.
