As a way of celebrating Christmas, Youth Net and Counselling (YONECO) visited Chilwa Reformatory (Approved) School in Zomba District with a donation of assorted items.

Speaking during the visit, YONECO’s board member, Reverend Estone Pembamoyo said the organization realizes that Christmas is the season of giving and cheering the suffering hence the donation.

“We as YONECO believe that the youth are pillars of development following the phrase the youth are the future of the nation and the nation of the future that is why we decided to come and cheer these boys” he explained Rev Pembamoyo who further encouraged the children at the centre to desist from immoral tendencies that may kill their hope for the brighter future.

Speaking also during the donation, the center’s Principal Moffat Harra, hailed YONECO for the visit and the donation made saying it will ease some of the challenges facing the children.

“Own our own it is very difficult to meet the needs of the children but donations like this really helps us to manage the institution well,” he explained.
