YONECO has donated a total of 40 bicycle to community case workers from the area of Traditional Authority Mwambo in Zomba district.

The donation will help to ease mobility issues which negatively impacted on child protection activities in the area. Further to this, other 386 community case workers from other parts of the district will also be supported with pushbikes as well. YONECO will also donate motorbikes to other cadres including child protection workers.

The donation has been made under Ana Patsogolo (APA) Project which YONECO is implementing in Zomba and Blantyre districts with funding from USAID.

Among other people, the function was attended by the Chairperson of YONECO Board, Professor Dixie Maluwa Banda, Zomba District Social Welfare, as well as chiefs and Ward Counselors.
