69 Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW) have graduated from DAPP Mikolongwe Vocational School where they have acquired knowledge and skills in Horticulture, Cosmetology, Welding as well as Carpentry and Joinery.

The AGYWs are expected to utilize the skills in building economic resilience and enhance their financial status so as to eventually evade various challenges that arise due to poverty.

The AGYWs have been trained under Siyankha Programme through Ana Patsogolo Activity (APA) which is being funded by USAID  through The Bantwana Initiative. APA is aimed at preventing new HIV infections and reduce vulnerability among orphans and vulnerable children, as well as AGYWs.
