Care Givers from the area of Traditional Authority (T/A) Malemia in Zomba district who formed a Village Savings and Loans (VSL) groups have ventured into agribusiness in order to raise funds for a bigger business venture.

Currently, there are three groups in the area and the members used their individual VSL earnings to buy various farm inputs to cultivate rice and groundnuts which are among the most reliable cash crops in the area.

YONECO, through Ana Patsogolo Activity (APA) which is being funded by USAID through Bantwana, is working with various community structures in order to promote the welfare of children in the project’s targeted impact areas in Zomba and Blantyre.
