Today, 28 November, 2022 marks another day in natural resources conservation as YONECO, Total Land Care, the World Agroforestly Centre and the Malawi government are launching Sustainable Land Management (SAMALA) Project in Malawi.

The function is being held at Luwerezi ground in the area of Traditional Authority (T/A) Mabulabo in Mzimba district.

The five-year project will be implemented in Mzimba, Dowa, Kasungu and Ntchisi districts with financial support from the Flanders Government and Irish Aid through Total Land Care.

The central objective of SAMALA Project is to contribute to the restoration of degraded landscapes in a bid to support sustainable
livelihoods in the targeted areas.
